I've come to love this author and her intense and emotional stories. It was not just that that tied the women together, but sometimes it did feel like their whol 4. I'm hoping the author will write more full length novels, and I'm definitely looking forward for the next book. I love how flawed these characters are, it only makes them more believable to me. It feels so real in many aspects.

It has a very amazing ending i fell in love with this book from the get-go. If you like Harper's work then you will fully appreciate this novel. The kink was appropriately kinky, but I have to admit felt almost misplaced.
I would love another story of their present life. Leigh doesn't want a baby so they are left with the only solution, they break up. You get sucked in the story and because of the different point of views I felt like someone who was there and saw the complete story happen in front of me. Eleven years and many partners and life and career milestones later, the two have a chance to make things right. It made me cry, it is incredibly well written. The steamy factor is high on this one but be forewarned - the scenes are quite kinky. A complete romance that starts with a very painful break up, and tells the story of those two women, who struggle to find a love as powerful as the one they lost, until 11 years later, when they meet again.
It will certainly not curse your time. Everything had a reason for happening. The characters, Jodie and Leigh, are certainly likable enough. While I know the author does erotic romances, I wasn't really sure what to expect.
